Workshop weekends are not only a very good way of meeting up with other people who have similar interests to yourself but they are also a great chance to devote more time, learn more intensively and reflect with others about something you are interested in and would like to get better at. It is also an ideal opportunity to be taught by experienced teachers who are masters in their own field like Svend Kjeldsen.
Svend has an MA in Irish Traditional Music Performance from the University of Limerick in Ireland. He is currently working at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, where he is teaching bodhrán, subjects in Irish traditional music and ethnomusicology.
He has also been the tutor at many Bodhrán workshops all over Europe teaching people of all ages and at all stages from complete beginners to very advanced. There is a workshop coming up on 30th- 31st October 2010. Take a look at the Workshop Description and Booking Form for more information or contact Joanna Scott Douglas Direct by sending an email.
